The research group Advanced Geodesy offers a broad range of courses to students of Surveying and Geoinformation, especially to those with a major on Geodesy and Geophysics. A variaty of lectures, labs and seminars should give insight into the following topics:

  • Astronomical Geodesy
  • Geo-Coordinate Systems
  • Physical Geodesy
  • Modern Space Geodetic Techniques (GPS, Glonass, Galileo, VLBI, SLR, LLR ...)
  • Positioning and Navigation
  • Atmospheric effects in Geodesy
  • Earth rotation and global dynamic processes
